In today’s fast-paced academic environment, the importance of instilling core values among university students remains a vital foundation for holistic development. ARAW: Araw-araw na Alala ukol sa Wastong Asal is a values-based initiative by the Student Affairs Office of Universidad de Dagupan designed to serve as a daily reminder and reflection tool for students, guiding them in upholding ethical behavior, respect, responsibility, and integrity in both academic and personal spheres. The word “Araw”, which means “day” or “sun” in Filipino, symbolizes light, consistency, and growth qualities that this project aims to cultivate in every student. Just as the sun rises each day, ARAW seeks to provide a steady source of inspiration and moral guidance through short, relatable, and thought-provoking messages shared daily via digital platforms, campus bulletin boards, and student networks. With each day's reminder, ARAW hopes to nurture a culture of mindful action and values-based decision-making, reinforcing the university's commitment to producing not only knowledgeable but also principled learners who embody the ideals of the Filipino people.
