UDD JOINS PSU IN HOSTING ICTSBAF 2025, STRENGTHENING ACADEMIC AND RESEARCH COLLABORATION
Universidad de Dagupan (UdD) further solidified its commitment to global academic and research advancement as it collaborated with Pangasinan State University (PSU) for the successful conduct of the International Conference on Technology, Social Science, Business, Agriculture, and Fisheries (ICTSBAF 2025). The event was held on November 24, 2025, at the PSU Golden Lion Gate Hotel in Lingayen, Pangasinan. ICTSBAF 2025 brought together researchers, educators, industry practitioners, students, and policymakers to share innovative ideas and build stronger cross-disciplinary collaborations.
Organized by PSU, the conference was conducted in partnership with the Commission on Higher Education (CHED) Region 1, Caraga State University, and Thu Duc College of Technology in Vietnam. The event also underscored the long-standing partnership between UdD and PSU, which have been strong collaborators in academic initiatives, research endeavors, and capacity-building programs over the years. UdD was represented by University President Dr. Feliza Arzadon-Sua, along with Dr. Ruby Rosa Cruz, Vice President for Research and Extension Services, and Ms. Jasmin Kathy Verzola, Director for External and International Linkages. Also part of the university’s delegation were Ms. Leinelyn Grace Soriano (School of Criminology), Mr. Arvin Louise Biasbas (School of Information Technology Education), Mr. Marriel Ferrera (School of Teacher Education), Ms. Vivian Ocal (Research Staff), and Mr. Mark Denice Baquiran, who presented his research on Artificial Intelligence. UdD’s active participation in ICTSBAF 2025 highlights its continued dedication to promoting research excellence, strengthening international linkages, and contributing to national and global knowledge exchange.
