Universidad de Dagupan (UdD) and Pangasinan State University (PSU) proudly raised the Philippine flag on the global stage after winning 4th place out of 17 countries in the prestigious 2025 Market Supervision Service Innovation Application Competition themed “Smart Market · AI Links ASEAN, held in Nanning, China. Representing the Philippines were Mr. Elmar Noche of PSU and Ms. Rochelle Llanto and Mr. Jelson Llanto — outstanding faculty members of UdD’s School of Information Technology Education (SITE). Their groundbreaking AI innovation wowed the judges and solidified the Philippines’ place among the top tech innovators in the ASEAN region. This global victory is more than a win — it’s a powerful statement that UdD’s faculty are truly world-class, forward-thinking, and at the forefront of innovation.
