UDD STRENGTHENS GLOBAL REACH THROUGH MOU WITH NATIONAL CHI NAN UNIVERSITY OF TAIWAN

𝗨𝗱𝗗 𝘀𝗶𝗴𝗻𝘀 𝗠𝗢𝗨 𝘄𝗶𝘁𝗵 𝗡𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻𝗮𝗹 𝗖𝗵𝗶 𝗡𝗮𝗻 𝗨𝗻𝗶𝘃𝗲𝗿𝘀𝗶𝘁𝘆 𝗼𝗳 𝗧𝗮𝗶𝘄𝗮𝗻 Universidad de Dagupan (UdD) entered into a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with National Chi Nan University today, marking a significant step in strengthening international academic collaboration. The signing took place during Day 1 of the 6th HLU Annual Conference, held alongside the 2026 WURI Global Rankings Ceremony from May 6–8.

The MOU establishes a framework for cooperation between the two institutions in areas such as joint research and academic activities, faculty and student exchanges, and the sharing of academic resources and research publications. It also opens opportunities for study tours, joint degree programs (subject to separate agreements), and broader multilateral collaborations. Representing UdD in this milestone engagement was Chief Operating Officer Jann Alfred Arzadon Quinto, who underscored the university’s commitment to expanding its global academic partnerships and enhancing the quality of education through international linkages.

The agreement aligns with both institutions’ shared vision of fostering innovation, academic excellence, and cross-cultural exchange. It also reflects a mutual commitment to inclusivity, equal opportunity, and collaborative growth in higher education. The joint event gathered more than 350 higher education leaders from across the globe, serving as a premier platform for discussions on university innovation, artificial intelligence transformation, sustainability, and global collaboration.

Through this partnership, UdD continues to position itself as an active participant in the global academic community.
